Consider this a spoiler, but you have only yourself to blame for not having watched HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” As we all know, Sean Bean’s character Eddard Stark met his “demise” at the of the season finale, but luckily surviving in real life. Bean spoke to Vulture recently to discuss his future and possible return to season two, which will begin filming late this summer.
Here’s what Bean had to say about his role in the upcoming much anticipated next season:
Maybe there’s hope for Ned yet! They can do anything. Anything can happen. It’s a very complex show. Very multilayered. And even the most absurd thing is believable. They’re about to start up again, and I’m feeling a twinge of envy, because the saga gets to go on without me. I’m doing something else now, but sometimes I go, “Aw, $@#!, bring me back.”
From the looks of it, it doesn’t sound promising. But I suppose we’ll never know. Will I miss him? Definitely. But is he needed in this wonderful world created by George R.R. Martin? Probably not, and no doubt a new character will rise up to capture our attention and hearts.
Damn, season two can’t happen soon enough.
