A second trailer trailer for the remake of “The Karate Kid” has been released staring Will Smith’s kid Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan.
If you haven’t seen the first trailer you can peak at it here. The remake that has disaster written all over it follows the same formula as the original except it takes place in China despite Karate being Japanese.
Meanwhile, Jackie Chan (The Spy Next Door) will play the Mr. Miyagi character.
So far, the trailer isn’t looking too bad. Despite all the criticisms its getting, even us nay sayers will probably end up watching it hoping for the train wreck but being pleasantly surprised. See, I’m being optimistic here.
