“Sherlock Holmes,” the upcoming Guy Ritchie directed film starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law has stepped in to fill Microsoft’s place after the software giant abruptly dropped out of Fox’s Seth MacFarlane “Family Guy variety special citing that it “did not fit with the Windows brand.”
“Sherlock Holmes” will now be the sole sponsor of the “Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show” event which premiers this Sunday along with new episodes of “Family Guy” and “The Cleveland Show.”
Included will be a sneak preview of “Sherlock Holmes.” It’s unsure if this will be an extended trailer or a short clip. But whatever the case, it will be something worth checking out if you’re a fan of Mr. Holmes.
“Sherlock Holmes” will hit theaters on Christmas Day.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
