The film is set for a November 22, 2013 release.
The studio is taking a big gamble on franchise given that they have yet to see if all hype for the first film will translate to box office treasure or just another dud. If the film does return for a sequel, it is expected that Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth will also be returning to reprise their roles.
There has yet to be any word from the Studio as to whether they will be moving forward with the third film in the series, “Mockingjay.”
