Sony Moves Channing Tatum’s ‘White House Down’ Up To June 28, 2013

Deadline is reporting that Sony Pictures is bumping the new Roland Emmerich film, White House Down from its original release date of November 1, 2013 up to the peak of the summer action season at June 28, 2013.

Word is that the studio is trying to beat the Antoine Fuqua film Olympus Has Fallen to the screen. Star power wise, the two films are pretty much even. White House Down has Chaning Tatum and Jamie Foxx while Olympus Has Fallen stars Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart. the main problem is that the two films have similar plots.
