I guess it was only a matter of time. Today, Marvel announced the release date for part four of the ever popular and friendly neighbor web crawler. Set for a summer of 2010 release, Spider-Man 4 will reunite director Sam Raimi with Toby Maguire once again with the ever perky Kristen Dunst most likely to follow.
In an interesting addition, the word around town is that the Oscar nominated star, Mickey Rourke (“The Wrestler”) has been considered for a villain role in “Spider-Man 4.” Although no story details have been released, we here at Bent Wookie think he’d be great as the cold hearted mobster Tombstone or the dangerously savage Kraven the hunter.
