Hailee Steinfeld has been great as the voice of Spider-Gwen in the first two Spider-Verse films, but she’s also been excellent on the live-action side of things with films like Bumblebee, Hawkeye, Ender’s Game, and True Grit. It seems only logical that Sony would want to use Steinfeld to jump her character from the animated world into the growing Spider-Verse that Sony is building. In a new interview with Josh Horowitz, it sounds like that could be closer to reality than a lot of people could have hoped.
Check out the way she addresses whether or not she’s met the live-action Spider-Men: Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire and what that could mean for her.
With that said, don’t hold your breath on her joining the MCU anytime soon because… she’s already there! With her introduction as Kate Bishop in the Disney+ Hawkeye series, Steinfeld’s MCU path already has her on the way to becoming an Avenger and as the possible heir to the alias made famous by Jeremy Renner.
