Rumors have been floating around for a couple days about the title for the new Spider-Man reboot that’s coming from Sony (under the creative direction of Marvel/Disney). It turns out that the rumors were true and the film is now titled: Spider-Man Homecoming.
The name of the film was picked for two reasons. First, the film will be set during Peter Parker’s Highschool homecoming. Second, because this film marks the return of Spider-Man to the Marvel film universe (if you don’t count Captain America: Civil War).
Meanwhile, we are still waiting to hear who Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be facing off against in the new film. If the rumors for that hold true as well, we are looking at the potential of a showdown with The Vulture.
