‘Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark’ Star Natalie Mendoza Injured

Natalie Mendoza, the actress who plays the lead role of Arachne in “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” will be taking a short leave from the role while she recovers from a concussion.

While it was announced over a day ago that she was injured, it is just coming out now that her injuries were actually caused by an accident during the first preview performance of the show, when she was hit in the head by a rope on stage. She initially brushed it off, but it was not until several days later that everyone realized she had received the concussion.

Actors Equity is currently looking into the matter, but has not comment to make at this time.
