‘Spiral’ Trailer – Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson In ‘Saw’ Spinoff

We’re not sure if this would be a Saw spinoff, sequel, or reboot, but given that the full name of the movie is Spiral: From the Book of Saw, it is definitely one of those options. The new movie seems to take place in the same universe, but a good amount of time after all of the previous Saw movies have taken place. All we really know at this point is that the film stars Chris Rock and also features Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella, and Marisol Nichols, so we are on board to at least give it a try.

A sadistic mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in SPIRAL, the terrifying new chapter from the book of SAW. Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past.  Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
