There has been a lot of speculation that the upcoming MCU film, Black Widow, would focus on an earlier period in Natasha Romanov’s life. Some rumors have the movie taking place in the midst of the Y2K scare and would feature Hawkeye and Nick Fury recruiting her to join SHIELD. Now, a new set pic of Scarlet Johansson shows her in a car that did not exist that long ago.
The car in the above photo is a 2017 BMW 5 Series Touring Wagon. This doesn’t mean that the previously rumored Y2K story line might not be part of a flashback, but it looks like at least some of the movie is taking place in the window between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.
