In an interview with MTV, Stan Lee talked about how he would like to have a villainous cameo in Marvel’s upcoming “Captain America: The First Avenger.” Having appeared in several Marvel films as random background/side characters, Lee professed how he would like to be a villain in his next cameo.
Having just filmed his cameo in “Thor,” Lee joked how “every movie producer realizes that the only reason people go to the movie is to see my cameo, so they dare not omit it.”
Adding that he doesn’t have time to go to England to shoot his cameo in “Captain America” but will instead be shooting it state wise.
I really don’t have time to go to England, but I think they might shoot some scenes here, so I’ll get a chance to be in that one, too.
I really don’t know [which character I’ll play in Captain America], because I don’t know the script…[But] instead of always making me such a wonderful person, which I really I am, I wish they’d make me a villain, so I can exercise my acting chops.
While I like my Lee as a good nature guy, seeing him appear as a Nazi or a HYDRA agent would be a total trip. What do you think? Let us know!
