Marvel Studios just announced that the Oscar-nominated actor Stanely Tucci has officially been cast in Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger!”
For those not in the know, Dr. Erskine is the German scientist behind Project Rebirth, and the father/creator of the Super Solider serum that’ll transform Steve Rogers the weakling into America’s favorite son, Captain America.
While the role isn’t large and Stanely Tucci will seem almost like guest star cameo, don’t let that fool you. He’s a tremendous actor having been in films such as “The Lovely Bones” and “Julie & Julia,” he’ll round up an already solid cast.
Looks like Marvel’s going all out for “Captain America.”
