The second season of Star Trek: Picard is currently streaming on Paramount+, but the streaming network is already working on the show’s third and final season. Today it was announced that the third season will feature pretty much as many Star Trek: The Next Generation cast members as they can jam into it.
LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis and Brent Spiner has all been confirmed for the show, but there’s no sign of Wil Wheaton who currently hosts the Paramount+ version of Talking Dead for Star Trek. Sadly, that means we have no chance of getting one more “Shut Up Wesley” before Patrick Stewart hangs up his Federation uniform for the last time. We will however get some closure on the romantic entanglement that Picard had with Wesley’s mom, Beverly Crusher/ Gates McFadden.
