With the success of Star Trek: Picard on CBS All-Access, fans are now looking to other Star Trek Captains to see if they might be a good fit for their own spin-offs. Despite having died in 1994’s Star Trek: Generations, many people are asking, what about Kirk? Well, Deadline is reporting that the 88-year-old actor who made his mark on pop culture as Captain James Tiberius Kirk of the USS Enterprise has no interest in making it happen.
While the news might be sad for some, it doesn’t mean that Trek’s spin-offs will end with Picard. For all we know there are Janeway and Sisko series in development. Hell, based on what we’ve seen From Picard so far, Seven of Nine and the Rangers could get their own spin-off.
