It’s Star Wars day, so you knew that something had to coming out from Disney/Lucasfilm to celebrate. A few hours ago, a new trailer for The Acolyte dropped. The series, which is the first live-action adaptation of events from the era of the High Republic. The show stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
