We are talking about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story actor Ben Mendelsohn who is set to play the main bad guy that Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel will have to take down on her first solo adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
We currently have no idea exactly who he will be playing, but we know that Sam Jackson’s Nick Fury will be around for the fight between him and the most powerful hero in the MCU. As previously reported, we also know that the film will be set in the 90’s and it should serve to explain where the hero has been for the last two decades leading up to Avengers: Infinity War.
Captain Marvel will hit theaters on March 8, 2019.
