Star Wars Downunder Fan Film – The Austrailian Star Wars Film You’ve Been Missing!

It’s still almost two years before we are going to get a chance to see Star Wars Episode VII. Thankfully, there will always be fans out there to give us new Star Wars content. In fact, we just got an email frtom the guys who made this new Australian Star Wars fan film called: Star Wars Downunder, a movie that brings two of Australia’s favorite things together: Star Wars and Beer!

The film took ten years to make and was shot on 35mm with augmentation from motion captured CGI characters, and an array of other VFX techniques

SYNOPSIS:
The film tells the story of a lone Jedi: Merve Bushwacker (David Nicoll), returning home after a long absence. His mission? To partake in a refreshing beverage, known locally as amber fluid. On his arrival, he is dismayed to discover the planet has become as dry as a dead dingo′s donger, thanks to the tyrannical rule of Darth Drongo. Drongo has hoarded all the amber fluid in his impenetrable fortress “Dunny’s Deep” for reasons unknown. Can Merve, and a motley collection of unlikely allies band together to topple Drongo’s evil regime? Will liberty and amber fluid flow freely once more?
