STAR WARS: EPISODE VII Rumors: Mandalorians, Witches, And More

Let’s cut right to the chase. Here are the latest rumors:

1. According to multiple sources, the Mandalorians (AKA – Boba Fett’s race of mercenaries) are going to feature heavily into Episode VII. This would not be surprising for a couple of reasons: First, everyone loves Boba Fett and second, it looks like at least one Mandalorian will be a main character in the upcoming Star Wars Rebels animated series. According to the Wookiepedia, while Mandalorians were initially alligned with the Sith, they eventually changed over to an alliance with the Jedi.

2. Sith Witches: No, they aren’t a new dessert treat, but they are possibly going to be part of the movie. If they sound familiar to you, it is because they were part of the Clone Wars animated series by way of the the Nightsisters of Dathomir (Darth Maul’s homeworld).

3. Production Delay: We mentioned this earlier, but it’s looking more and more like the movie might get pushed back to May of 2016. It’s almost like Abrams pushed that Falcon door into Ford’s leg to get his way.
