We are four episodes into the long-awaited seventh season Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. It’s been several years since the show was canceled on Cartoon Network when Disney bought Star Wars. Now that we’ve finished up the first story-arc (that was actually leftover but never broadcast after the series ended on cable), it is finally time to move on to new stories created entirely for the Disney+ run of the show. With those new stories comes the return of Ahsoka Tano.
The annoying character who used to be nicknamed “snips” has grown into one of the most popular characters in Star Wars canon and definitely one of the top three most popular female characters (We’d bet she’s got more fans than Amidala). We’ve seen Ahsoka in Star Wars Rebels, but now we are going to get a better look at some of her solo adventures from the period after she left the Jedi.
After leaving the Jedi Order, Ahsoka Tano finds herself in the underworld of Coruscant where she befriends aspiring pilot Trace Martez. Enlisted by Trace’s sister Rafa to help build dangerous droids, Ahsoka opts to keep her Jedi past a secret in “Gone With a Trace,” an all-new episode of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” this Friday, March 20th on Disney+.
