Fans of Starcraft and all things Blizzard were treated to something super special today, the opening cinematic and a gameplay sample from their StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.
Here’s what Executive Vice President of game design at Blizzard Rob Pardo had to say about the new expansion:
“It’s hard to imagine doing a Zerg-based campaign the same way [as the Terran story] or, for that matter, doing a Protoss one.”
“We really want to make each racial experience feel true to the race and feel interesting, so I think there will be some similar stuff and some stuff that really diverges to make sense for the race.”
