Steve From Blue’s Clues Sings About Poop With Steven From The Flaming Lips

Ever wonder what happened to Steve Burns from Blue’s Clues? Despite the internet rumors, he’s not dead. In fact, the former Nickelodeon star has a band with Flaming Lips’ Steven Drozd. The group is called SteveNsteven and they are creating some remarkably catchy kids music that parents can play without wanting to shoot themselves in the head.

The two Steves first teamed up on an album back in 2001, and Burns has even toured with The Flaming Lips in the past. They quickly became friends have have been putting together songs for this album over the last several years. Their first music video was quietly released on YouTube nearly 8 months ago, but has just been noticed by TMZ. The song, ‘OK Toilet Bowl’ teaches kids not to be afraid to poop in the toilet. The album dropped on February 24th and is called StevenSteven: Foreverywhere. Check out the videos they’ve released below, and see if you can make it through 20 seconds of OK Toilet without getting “Now I’m pooping in the toilet bowl” stuck in your head.

On a side note, if you are still wondering why he left Blue’s Clues, Steve told The Huffington Post that it was mainly because he had started losing his hair:

“I was pretty much playing a boyish, older-brotherish kind of character on the show. I was getting older; I was losing my hair; a lot of the original gangsters on the show, like the people who created it, were all moving on to other careers. It just felt like time. I just had a gut feeling like it was time to go.”
