The renowned Studio Ghibli (My Neighbor Totoro) has revealed the gorgeous trailer for their upcoming Playstation 3 video game “Ni No Kuni.” Teaming up with developer Level-5, Studio Ghibli has blurred the lines between CGI cutescenes and actual game play by creating a video game world that appears just like one of their films.
This trailer compares Ghibli’s animation to the upcoming Playstation 3’s in-game action with amazing results. Overall the visuals look incredible and the game seems like a mix between Pokemon and your typical Studio Ghibli animated film.
Currently, “Ni No Kuni’ is set for only a Japan release, but I have little doubt it’ll hit statewise and revolutionized animated games.
