Here’s some good news for fans of Zack Snyder’s action sci-fi-fantasy “Sucker Punch.” Warner Bros. has decided to not release the gothy epic dreamland adventure in 3D. It’s kind of a shame actually, especially with it being nearly entirely filmed in CG and the high level of babealiciousness. But no 3D is better than bad 3D I always say *cough*clashofthetitans*cough*
“Sucker Punch” stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino, and Jon Hamm and will be released in 2D on March 25, 2011.
Here’s the official synopsis for those who’ve been living under a rock:
Sucker Punch is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, but her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary…with potentially tragic consequences.
