One of the first things that stood out when James Gunn started dealing out info on his take on The Suicide Squad was the fact that there are just so many damned people on the team this go round. To us, that’s a big clue that half of the cast is probably going to die in the opening sequence. Well, that or they’ll be captured by Starr-o and the other half of the team will have to fight them in the finale.
Anyways, to get people excited, Empire Magazine is now releasing several versions of their new issue, each with a different cover to feature part of the team (and one awesome illustrated cover by Jim Lee). The new covers also coincide with the announcement that the cast and Gunn Himself are set to appear on the new season of WipeOut, which happens to be hosted by The Squad’s John Cena.
