The first trailer for Super Mario Bros is out with Chris Pratt as the voice of the titular plumber. So far, I’ve got to say, this looks like it could be pretty great. It’s definitely darker than I expected and Jack Black is an immediate stand out as Koopa. Check it out below.
Joining Pratt in the film are Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Browser,
Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike. Super Mario Bros is set for release on April 7, 2023.
