Last week’s rumor about a new TV series based around Supergirl has now been confirmed by Arrow Producer Greg Berlanti. He’ll be producing the show, which will be written by No Ordinary Family writer, Ali Adler.
Here’s what he told fans at Palefest:
“We’re just starting to work on it. We haven’t gone to the networks yet, so. I’ll be happy, very excited to talk about it once we know where its home will be and that kind of stuff, but not at this moment.”
We’re guessing that this show will also end up on The CW, which has been doing a stellar job of building a DC TV universe.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
