The end of Supergirl is coming a little earlier than expected as the sixth and final season of the series is set to premiere early (March 30th) to help fill a hole left by a Superman and Lois Covid-related production delay. However, it looks like the show still has a couple of surprises up its sleeve.
According to a new report from Deadline, the series is adding two big names to the cast for the final set of episodes, Jason Behr (Roswell) and Claude Knowlton (American Crime Story). According to the report, both actors will be playing characters that come from other planets. Knowlton will be playing an alien with a tragic past who can help Kara and her friends with their mission while Behr will be playing a suspiciously unnamed Kryptonian who will step in to help Supergirl when she gets in over her head. Behr’s character’s name has been kept purposefully under wraps, so there’s a good chance that he’ll be playing someone with a history in the Superman comic book universe.
