Superman and Lois has been a surprisingly good series given the slightly less auspicious start that Tyler Hoechlin had when he first donned the red and blue in Supergirl. Now that the show has been essentially disconnected from the Arrowverse (Other than the occasional pop-in from John Diggle), it’s become a solid take on the hero and how he and Lois Lane navigate the challenges of their lives and being parents to two teenagers.
Sadly, it looks like one of those teenagers has bowed out of the series according to a new report from Variety. the publication is reporting that Jordan Elsass, the actor who plays Johnathan Kent has just given word that he is exiting the show due to personal reasons. It was stated that his reasons for leaving have nothing to do with the show or anyone working on it.
With Season 3 set to begin production shortly, the wheels have begun turning on recasting the role of one of Superman’s sons. The only questions now are who will take over the role and will fans accept the swap out?
