Production will begin for Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, “Superman: Man Of Steel” next month in Vancouver, with the release date set for June 14, 2013.
If this is the case, 2013 will be another summer belonging to comic book heroes, as it’ll face off against Marvel’s “Iron Man 3,” and “Thor 2” which are set to drop in May and July.
“Superman: Man of Steel” stars Henry Cavil, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner and Michael Shannon.
The script is written by David S. Goyer, and Christopher Nolan will produce.
Although “Captain America: The First Avenger” doesn’t open until tomorrow, Marvel has been a clear winner this year with “Thor” and “X-Men: First Class.” Whereas WB’s “Green Lantern” ended up being a box office failure. Will 2013 be any different? I guess we’ll find out.
