Warner Premiere’s next original DC Universe Animated film following “Batman: Under The Red Hood” will be “Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.”
The movie is based the popular “The Supergirl from Krypton” story arc by Jeph Loeb and drawn by the late Michael Turner from the ongoing Superman/Batman series.
It involves Superman being quarantined in the Batcave, while Batman discovers a rocket ship that had crashed in Gotham Harbor. In it, was a Kryptonian girl who identified herself as Kara Zor-El, “cousin” of Superman.
The movie will be released on September 28, 2010. Three versions will be available, a single standard edition, a double-disc special edition, as well as a Blu-ray version.
