While the deal hasn’t been signed, it’s deep into the “talks” phase and it lookslike TNT could be bringing us a live action rendition of the DC hero team, Titans, or Teen Titans depending on which version they go with. For me, Teen Titans was one of the best animated series that DC has put out (along with shows like Batman the Animated series and Justice) and I’d love to see how they handle the team of Nightwing, Raven, Starfire, and Cyborg in a live action setting. Sadly, early reports mention nothing of Beast Boy.
Currently, Akiva Goldsman and Marc Haimes are set as writers, with Goldsman executive producing and Haimes acting as co-EP.
As exciting as just the news of this series is, it opens up an even bigger question as to whether or not they would be in the same TV universe as CW’s Arrow, The Flash, and the upcoming Supergirl series.
