I’m not sure Christopher Nolan could make a movie with a normal narrative structure if his career depended on it. That’s not a bad thing, but the director seems to specialize in movies designed to mess with the minds of the audience. In his latest film, he revisits Time, one of his favorite subjects as a special agent must stop World War III by what appears to be working backwards through events and stopping them at their source.
As always, Nolan has pulled together an insane cast that includes John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.
Unsurprisingly, the film has no synopsis, so that viewers can be as confused as ever after watching the trailer.
