The big news here isn’t that Terminator 6is coming out on July 26, 2019, but what we now know will and won’t be part of the film. The movie, which marks James Cameron’s return to the franchise after three increasingly bad movies that happened after T2: Judgement Day is promised to be a direct sequel to the second film in the series. This means that none of the other garbage that that happened in the other movies is canon! Rejoice! Now, add to the fact that both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton are slated to return for the first film, before passing it on to a new generation of cast members, and we are looking at a Star Wars: The Force Awakens style reboot/ sequel that could be promising.
One cast member who hasn’t been mentioned yet is Edward Furlong, though it is highly doubted that he will appear in the film, given his history of trouble with the legal system and substance abuse.
