Entertainment Weekly is reporting that SyFy has gained the rights to all 31 episodes of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” which originally ran for two seasons on Fox from 2008 to 2009.
“The Sarah Conner Chronicles” will air on SyFy beginning Thursday, April 7 at 9 p.m., with an airing of “Terminator 3” as its lead-in. After its premiere, it will be slotted in its regular time on Thursdays from 7 to 11 p.m.
While this may not be the news fans were hoping for, it does provide a tiny bit of hope for the eventual return of the short lived series or at least a direct-to-DVD film.
While show creator Josh Friedman believed there was no hope for “TSCC,” fans believed that if the show moved to SyFy there’d have been a chance.
Well fans, here’s your chance. Don’t be all talk and no bite. Online petitions mean squat when ratings are still down. You’ve got a second chance, now make do and let’s bring “TSCC” back!
