‘Terra Nova’ Looks To Netflix For New Life

Could Terra Nova be joining Arrested Development on Netflix? We aren’t sure, but the online service that has already resurrected one fan favorite is in talks with the producers of Fox’s recently canned dino drama to see if it might find a new home there.

Terra Nova was cancelled earlier this week, not because of bad ratings, but because the network felt that the story wasn’t strong enough to keep it going. It is one of the most expensive shows on TV, so taking it on could be a huge gamble for Netflix compared to the relatively low production costs of ‘Arrested Development’.

Here’s what the Live Feed had to say about it:
“While discussions are merely preliminary, the move could make sense for Netflix as it continues its push into original scripted programming with fare including 20th Television’s Arrested Development, which the company resurrected in November,”
