With the movie headed to the big screens soon, “Where The Wild Things Are” is about to become the most talked about property since Batman and “The Dark Knight.”
Trying to capitalize on its success, some one has created the very awesome Terrible Yellow Eyes blog which collects art work inspired by Maurice Sendak’s beloved classic children’s book. From the site:
Simply put, like a visual love letter to the book, with Terrible Yellow Eyes I am seeking to celebrate and promote the original masterwork by Maurice Sendak in the best way I know how—with pictures.
We share a love and admiration for Sendak’s work and the pieces we present here are done as a tribute to his life and legacy.
Check out our small gallery collected below, for more and higher res shots, head on over to Terrible Yellow Eyes. It really is a fantastic blog!
