Bento Box, the production company that makes Bob’s Burgers is currently working on a new animated series based on The Blues Brothers with Dan Aykroyd.
Along with featuring a lot of classic recordings from the original Blues Brothers (Dan Aykroydand John Belushi) the show will also feature many up and coming Blues performers and will serve as a platform to introduce the genre to young adults.
“It’s so great to accelerate Jake and Elwood at digital speed into the 21st Century via the outstanding creative group at Bento Box. The show will be the Blues Brothers living in America and utilizing all new technology to make and promote their own records, seek out and record new artists and avoid law enforcement – and all while fighting for truth, justice and a better breakfast sandwich.”
