If you aren’t getting enough of The Boys from The Boys and Gen V, Amazon Prime is ready to pump out even more new content with The Boys: Mexico, a new series that Deadline just reported is in development.
The website is reporting that the new spinoff is being headed up by Blue Beetle writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. Additionally, both Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal are attached to produce as well as possibly take on smaller roles in the project. At this time, neither of them are expected to play any of the main characters.
While no story details have been released, it is known that the new show will be set in, and filmed, in Mexico.
Now we just have to wonder how many Boys series will Amazon crank out before they lose what makes them special and just become another over-produced IP.
