Filming has wrapped in Pittsburgh for Christopher Nolan and the rest of the “The Dark Knight Rises” cast and crew. But before exiting, they took out a classy full page ad in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette thanking the city, which you can see below.
The entire production is now moving back to Los Angeles, where shooting is expected to resume from September 3rd to September 23rd. Afterward production will wrap in New York.
“The Dark Knight” is set to be released on July 20th, 2012. Hopefully Nolan will and his security detail will try to keep what’s left a secret, because god knows, we saw a lot of what we probably shouldn’t have seen when filming took place in Pittsburgh!
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
