When Clone Wars premiered in theaters this past August, a lot of people wrote it off as a nothing more than a overblown pilot for the soon to be launched Cartoon Network Series. Well, they may have been right, but it looks like the move was a success for the folks over at Lucas Film.
The premier was a hit, with over 4 million viewers checking out the back-to-back premier episodes. That’s a new record for the Cartoon Network.
In case you are wondering how big that number really is, let’s compare it with the return of the critically acclaimed Friday Night Lights. Their season premier only garnered 400,000 sports fans.
