I remember buying the the first issue of The Human Fly for a dollar at a garage sale because it came out of on the month and year that I was born. It was an OK comic that was loosely based off a real guy. Now, it looks like the story has found new life in the form of a film.
Even though the comic book only ran for 19 issues in the 70’s, people still feel that the story of real-life stuntman turned comic book super hero Joe Ramacieri, might have some legs.
For me, the most interesting bit of info attached to the story is that the screenplay was penned by Tony Babinski, Cirque Du Soleil’s in-house historian.
