Nearly every real Disney fan dreams of becoming an Imagineer at some point in their lives. They are the ones who weave the real magic in the Disney Theme Parks. They create the rides, design the animatronics, and pretty much do everything that makes Disney World and Disneyland a truly amazing place.
When Disney launches the Disney+ streaming service in November, we will be treated to a look behind the curtain thanks to a new docuseries called The Imagineering Story.
As an added Disney Easter Egg, the series is being directed by Leslie Iwerks, the Oscar® and Emmy® nominated documentary filmmaker who just happens to be the granddaughter of Disney animation legend and the original designer of Mickey Mouse, Ub Iwerks.
Behind-the-scenes of the Disney Parks dream. The Imagineering Story, an original series, streaming Nov. 12 only on Disney+.
