It looks like we might finally have news on who will be filling Murphy’s shoes in the José Padilha reboot of Robocop! Joel Kinnaman, star of the critically acclaimed show ”The Killing”, has allegedly been offered the lead in the new film. He was actually set to play Lancelot in Warner Bros.’s Arthur & Lancelot, but the studio put that project on hold.
A lot of people had the job pinned to Michael Fassbender, but with him in ‘The Counselor’ and the sequel to “X-Men: First Class”, that just isn’t going to happen.
Along with the casting pick, Padikha recently hired Nick Schenk, the man who wrote “Gran Torino” to work on the script.
