‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel’ Delayed Until 2023

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the best games to have come out on the Switch and is up there near the top of games to have come out for Nintendo’s Zelda franchise. Unfortunately, it’s looking like fans are now going to have to wait a little longer for a sequel.

The announcement came out today directly on YouTube from Series producer, Eiji Aonuma.

“We have decided to extend our development time a bit and change the release to Spring 2023. For those of you who have been looking forward to a release this year, we apologize. In order to make this game’s experience something special, the entire development team is continuing to work diligently on this game, so please wait a while longer.”
