‘The Midnight Sky’ – First Trailer For George Clooney’s Post-Apocalyptic Netflix Movie

Netflix has just dropped their first trailer for the George Clooney starring and directed by film, The Midnight Sky. In the ne film, Clooney plays a scientist at an arctic research station who must stop a crew of astronauts from returning to a now ruined Earth as their return would mean their death and the end of hope for the human race to live on.

While not exactly the warm holiday film you might be looking for when this movie hits the streaming platform on December 23, it definitely feels relevant to the way 2020 has been going. The good news is that Clooney has a heck of a supporting cast joining him by way of Felicity Jones, David Oyelowo, Tiffany Boone, Demián Bichir, Kyle Chandler, and Caoilinn Springall.

Our humanity always endures.

This post-apocalyptic tale follows Augustine (George Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning home to Earth, where a mysterious global catastrophe has taken place.  Clooney directs the adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s acclaimed novel Good Morning, Midnight, co-starring David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Demián Bichir and Tiffany Boone.  Coming to Netflix December 23rd.
