In the US, Noel Fielding is best known as one of the current hosts on The Great British Baking Show and for his role as the Network Gremlin on The IT Crowd. Sadly, there is a large group of people that have no knowledge about his comedy series, The Mighty Boosh. If you’ve heard of it, here’s a synopsis of the series from Deadline:
The Mighty Boosh was produced by Steve Coogan’s Baby Cow Productions and ran for three seasons with 20 episodes. Set in a surreal fantasy universe, it follows two eccentric musicians Howard Moon, played by Barratt, and Vince Noir, played by Fielding, mystic alien shaman Naboo and Bollo the gorilla. The first season is largely set in a run-down, dilapidated zoo, the second season largely in a flat in Dalston and the third season in the store below the flat called the Nabootique.
The show amassed a massive following in the UK as well as a strong cult following around the world. Today, Fielding sent out an Instagram post that has fans buzzing. Could this mean a reunion is in the offing?
