Rob Zombie just took to Instagram to show off the first official look as his cast from the upcoming live-action reboot of The Munsters. In the pic, you can see Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster and Dan Roebuck as Grandpa Munster. The roles were initially played by Fred Gynne, Yvonne De Carlo, and Al Lewis respectively. In the pic, you can see the cast sitting in front of the practical set that recreates the exterior of the Munster’s famous house at 1313 Mockingbird Lane.
Beyond the casting, there’s really nothing to know about the film right now. We don’t know if this is a continuation of the adventure of the family from the original sitcom, or if this is being treated as a complete reboot. We just know that Zombie is writing and directing the project.
