The Muppets are finally coming to Disney+ with a new series. Titled, The Muppets, the new show is set to start streaming at the end of this month and will allegedly be a lot closer to the classic Muppet Show, than that less than spectacular show that was also called The Muppets.
Today Disney+ is giving us a new teaser for the show with the obligatory Zoom chat. Interestingly, while most shows are using the Zoom chat motif as a COVID reference, this sketch is set back in January, before social distancing took effect. Either way, it was great to see Kermit, Janice, Rowl, Pepe, The Swedish Chef, Fozzie, Gonzo, and all the rest ready to bring us new laughs. Now Disney+ just needs to bring the original Muppet show to their platform already!
The Muppets have *officially* re-entered the chat. 👋💻 Get an inside look at how your favorite characters reacted when the show was greenlit — and count down the days until #MuppetsNow, an Original Series, starts streaming July 31 only on #DisneyPlus!
