Fresh off the high of their Oscar win for Best Song, The Muppets are preparing for a sequel, but Jason Segel won’t be the man writing the script. This time around, the writing duties will be handled by Segel’s co-writer on the film, Nicholas Stoller, and director James Bobin. The main reason for the change is that Segel just has too much on his plate between How I met Your Mother and all his other movies like The Five Year Engagement and This is Forty.
Bobin and Stoller were both big reasons why the latest Muppet film was the second best in the series. Let’s hope that the next outing is as great as this last one was.
